What does it take to be an activity manager?
Activity managers are responsible for organizing the coaching sessions (if necessary), ensuring we have coaches/supervisors available for each week we run the activity, and picking a team for competition entry. You would need to commit to running an activity session weekly for a 4 to 6 week period, and coordinate with the committee on any competitions arrangements. All volunteers are also required to complete Garda vetting in line with our child protection policy.

What does it take to be an activity coach?
A basic understanding of the rules of the activity/sport and enthusiasm is all you really need to be a coach! You would need to commit to running a coaching session weekly for a 4 to 6 week period, and coordinate with the activity manager and committee on any competitions arrangements. Each activity has the applicable rules set out by Community Games on their web site. All volunteers are also required to complete Garda vetting in line with our child protection policy.
