It is the policy of Community Games that all persons aged sixteen or over applying for a role that provides an opportunity for access to children complete Garda vetting. Individuals who volunteer at on an occasional basis (once off basis) are exempt from the vetting process. The vetting application needs to be processed through Community Games as follows:

Step 1 : Register For Vetting

1. Navigate to https://www.communitygames.info/vetting/
2. Enter your email address in the 'Email:' box and click 'Request Access Code' at the bottom of the form. The email address cannot be used for more than one application, and we recommend using a personal address rather than one from work or a friend.
3. Check your inbox for an email from 'Community Games Online Vetting System'. This may have gone to your junk/spam folder so check there if you don't find one.

Step 2 : Complete Vetting Registration

1. Navigate to https://www.communitygames.info/vetting/
2. Enter the same email address as you did in Step 1.
3. Check the email you received for an access code and enter this in the 'Access Code' box. Note: the access code expires after 48 hours so got back to step 1 if you need to request a new code.
4. Click 'Log In' at the bottom of the form
5. Complete Section 1, selecting Volunteering for Area 'Killanny (Monaghan)'
6. Click Submit
7. Verify the details. Note: You will be required to submit proof of Address and Identity at a later step, so ensure Name and Address match these documents!
8. If all looks good, click 'Continue'

There are some issues with policy links on the vetting portal. The correct links are:

• Code Of Conduct - To be printed, signed and returned to the Area Secretary
• Child Protection Policy
• Privacy Statement
• Vetting Policy

Step 3 : Complete Vetting Forms

• The page displayed after clicking 'Continue' on the previous step will include an applicant-specific link to download your vetting form. Please download and print, and return the completed document with supporting materials to the Area Secretary.
• You can retrieve your vetting form later by signing in again following Step 2 above. You will not need to fill in your details again.
